Putting Yourself Out There

The past month has been a giant leap out of my comfort zone.  Deciding to chase what your passionate about is a huge freeing decision, but with that comes work and un-comfortability.  I am a born introvert, and for so long I shied away from putting myself out there.  I thought that my experience and thoughts were not noteworthy enough to put into the universe, and you know what?!  I finally called Bulls#!$ on myself.  Each of us has a story to tell, and they are all important. I have used a couple of tools to do this, and I go back to these when I start to regress to old patterns...

1) Affirmations.  This is HUGE!  It doesn't matter what area of your life you want to work on.  Write down some self love and positivity on a post it, and repeat it to yourself 100 times a day.  I have several goals right now including getting out of debt, propelling my business forward, and creating a more simple life.  All of this will take time, and a daily reminder to keep going is SO important.

2) I stopped judging.  I don't think it's just me that looks at someone whose life you would love to have, and starts passing negative comments and excuses.  I AM A NICE PERSON, and doing this was just a way to hide from my own capability.  Instead I started asking myself WHY NOT ME?!  I remembered that my life IS MINE to live, and I can choose what to make of it.  I also started making a habit of complimenting each person that I look at in my head.  This probably sounds so weird, but it has been amazing for me!  I see A LOT of people every day, and to send all that positivity out into the universe is so awesome.

3) It feels good to put it out there!  When you talk about your successes and struggles you motivate others and find support you didn't even know was there.

If you have been in a rut, if you have been wanting to work on something and not moving forward, if you need more positivity in your life take one of these things and run with it.  And if you want support, laughs, and love join my tribe here!
